Rick began his career in the U.S. Navy as a builder, where he advanced through the ranks and gained firsthand experience managing crews and overseeing construction work in demanding environments. After earning his degree in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University, he entered the commercial construction industry as a project estimator, developing a strong foundation in planning, cost control, and project coordination.

With more than 30 years in the construction industry, Rick McNeil has managed and overseen every phase of the commercial construction process. His background includes extensive experience in estimating, project management, scheduling, and team leadership. Before founding Seventy-Four Construction, Rick worked with several large commercial construction firms, shaping the client service standards and operational practices that guide the company today.
