Seventy-Four Construction founder Rick McNeil had the vision to create a commercial construction company that was grounded in the motto of the US Navy Seabees (Navy Seabees: the U.S. Naval Construction Force). Bringing CAN DO to life with a higher level of accountability for him and his team; driven by determination, problem-solving skills, and a sense of responsibility to clients.

 

Rick’s leadership in knowledge, problem-solving, and tenacity have been built over a lifetime of experience. He started as a builder in the Navy where he advanced through the ranks to oversee projects and crews. After getting his degree in Civil Engineering from Rutgers, Rick entered the commercial construction business as a project estimator. 

 

Through his 30+ years of construction experience, Rick progressed from entry-level to managing and overseeing all aspects of the construction process from estimating department to a team of project managers. Rick worked for several large commercial construction companies before starting Seventy-Four Construction, bringing all the client service skills and best practices he learned along the way.  

 

Seventy-Four Construction is the culmination of a 30+ year career that brings the Seabee’s motto  ‘CAN DO’ to every job and every client. Under Rick’s leadership, we will find the best solution for the problem. It may not be the easiest or the most cost-efficient solution, but the best for the project and the team.
